Custom piece for a native Ethiopian who now resides in Oakland, California; born a Scoprio in the Year of the Fire Dragon. There are 14 gemstones strategically placed, marking the hometown, current town, 6 eyes of scorpion, corners of triangle, eye of dragon, birthdate and February 29 for the Leap Year. Lower right landmass is the Horn of Africa, lower left is the San Francisco Bay. Mixed media 30"x40"
